Image Reconstruction
Data Post-Processing and Image Reconstruction
Basic Linux skills are required to use image reconstruction software. Access to GPU/CPU workstations are available on the 5th floor of the Biochemistry building, room 502. The following data post-processing and image reconstruction software are available:
- RELION 3 (tutorial)
- Requires GPU
- CisTEM (tutorial)
- Only uses CPU
- SPHIRE (tutorial)
- EMAN2 (tutorial)
- PHENIX
- An excellent resource for map analysis, sharpening, atomic model filling, etc.
- IMOD (tutorial)
- The most popular software for tilt series data analysis and tomogram reconstruction
Additional compute resources are available at the MSU Institute for Cyber-Enabled Research (iCER).
