Equipment (Overview)

Our newly renovated facility is proud to offer state of the art microscopes and auxiliary equipment. Negative stain and initial screening of cryo grids are primarily handled by our Talos Arctica. Cryo-EM and cryo-ET samples are primarily handled by our Titan Krios. FIB-SEM samples are handled by our Helios Hydra Bio. We also offer assisted and non-assisted use of a Pelco EasiGlow Glow Discharger, a Leica Carbon Coater, two Vitrobots, a Leica GP2, a precisionary sectioning instrument, a high pressure freezer, and three clipping stations.
